TECHNICAL ADVISORY BOARD
To ensure that the VIN Hub has access to advice and counsel on a regular basis on all aspects of its work, the VIN Hub will establish a Technical Advisory Group (TAG). This TAG will be composed of distinguished members from industry and academia who are experts in the scientific, technical, and management aspects of the mission. The TAG is charged with reviewing the research strategy of the Hub and providing feedback to the Board and Leadership Team on how the research strategy relates to broader research topics in the field of nuclear energy.
The membership of the TAG will be recruited from organizations that can bring a broader industry perspective to issues considered by the VIN Hub. Some organizations that will be recruitment targets include:
- World Nuclear Association
- Nuclear Regulatory Commission (past members)
- OEM representatives
- Utility representatives
- Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI)
- Oak Ridge National Lab and Idaho National Lab
- Virginia Economic Development Partnership
- Virginia Nuclear Energy Consortium Authority
